Why does the band The Body sound like that?

I really like the band’s sound, and I would be a fan if it weren’t for the odd “vocals”. It sounds like a weird cartoon-ish scream and it all sounds the same.
Top Comment: I’ve seen a shitload of bands over the last 20 years but they’re the only one that sounds “scary” which I think is partly due to the vocals

Host Body is a band from Bristol, UK, featuring members of Ilenkus, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Ogives Big Band, Lightning Sharks and Bokotono. This is the first release and I guess it's kinda FFO The Armed, DEP, etc.

Top Comment: Never would I think a cover of anything David Gilmour, or Pink Floyd has ever done would sound so epic. And the lyrics are reminiscent of On The Turning Away. EDIT: Reading the story on Guitar World , David said “The initial contact from Ice-T was for permission to use the song, but I thought I might offer to play on it as well. I like the new lyrics, they're talking about the world we’re living in now, which is quite scary". He came in and recorded possibly the most epic version of the Comfortably Numb solo ever throughout the entire song. Take a listen and you decide.

Top Comment: Hold up. It should be noted that uncontrolled movement with this kind of resistance can cause some very serious conditions. I remember when people started doing this with BS, and then the "ok don't do that" posts started popping up where people ended up in the hospital, thousands in medical bills, and conditions where they effectively lost use of their arms. Err on the side of caution here.
